ice skating

Every winter Plaza de Cataluña is turned into a wonderful ice rink, which allows you to have fun on the ice throughout the winter season. An activity enjoyed as much by locals as by tourist and found only in the winter months.

You could spend a nice day at Barça’s Camp Nou and skate at Palau Blaugrana, where you can also explore the Barça museum and tour the stadium.

Wheather you have more time for skate Skating Club offer one fixed price to enjoy the different sesions: Morning 10.30am-2pm; Afternoon 4.30pm-8.30pm; Satuday 4.30pm-9pm.

You can hire skates on the spot or feel free to bring your own. You should wear comfortable clothing, long sleeves and long trousers for skating and I recommend a warm jacket. A helmet is recommended for everyone and compulsory in some ring . You can bring your cycling, skiing or ice hockey helmet. In most of the ice skating everybody must wear gloves. Remember you should wear the same size skates as the shoes you wear. This is very important for safety reasons, otherwise the foot might not be stable and you won’t be able to control the skate properly. Do not worry if you do not know how to skate.
